The Kimbley Family from Boularderie, Nova Scotia will be going to Ethiopia for six weeks to complete the adoption process of their newly adopted daughter Maija-Sitota. While waiting to bring her home my Mom and I will be helping out with the local Addis Kidan Baptist Churches. Later on in the trip my Dad and Brother will join us and help wherever they are needed. - Erik Kimbley. david.kimbley@ns.sympatico.ca
Satu and Erik,
ReplyDeleteWe are thrilled to hear that everything is going well with you there. Remember, no matter how painful it is to see people suffering from poverty, mercy needs to be combined with wisdom to know when and how to help, so it will really help them and empower them.
We continue to pray for you both, and that God will grant you to have all the paperwork done for Maija on time. WE miss you and look forward to your return with Maija in your arms.
About your friend with abdominal pain, it would be good to share the case with Dr Carolyn Klaus, maybe she can check her when she visits Ethiopia again? She may need to be checked for Tropical Diseases, parasites or require a biopsy of her intestine. IF it is a long term disease, it may require some studies to find out the cause.
Are you adding the new instruments to the Ensemble? I want to hear Erik play them!
Bibiana (praying for you guys)
Great to see and hear from you. Maija looks so comfortable in your arms. It feels like we've met her already. Keep singing to her. I love the fact that you can get all these pictures to us. Erik .....you are amazing. Lots of love from our end over here in windy cold Cape Breton. It's nice to see the sunny warm weather coming through the computer.
ReplyDeleteMaija looks like a lovely sized and healthy baby.
Hugs and kisses to you all.
Love Laura.
