The Kimbley Family from Boularderie, Nova Scotia will be going to Ethiopia for six weeks to complete the adoption process of their newly adopted daughter Maija-Sitota. While waiting to bring her home my Mom and I will be helping out with the local Addis Kidan Baptist Churches. Later on in the trip my Dad and Brother will join us and help wherever they are needed. - Erik Kimbley. david.kimbley@ns.sympatico.ca

You are very blessed to have such a beautiful family and now this precious Baby girl!
ReplyDeleteI work with your son Seppo and approached your husband David with questions and congrats on your new addition. He gave me this Blog to follow...thanks!!!
My husband and I are awaiting our Baby girl form China, we have been approved since February 9th 2007. We are expecting a long wait ahead of us, although we were told the wait would be approximately 16-18 months. We have passed that, but all we can do is wait and we will!
Wishing you all the best with your journey. Congratulations to you all!

Judy & Danny I hope your water problem is resolved. We know how frustrating and time consuming this can be. When we first took over this place water was our main trouble. It seems if you are on a point rather than a cove their is a huge difference in how deep you have to go to get good water. In Ethiopia a huge part of the problem revolves around good water. So in the end their isn't much difference no matter where you live in good ol' CB or the middle of Central Africa water is the basis of everything.

Thanks David, our water problem is resolved, turns out is was electrical. So glad it wasn't our pump or a need to drill deeper...already went through that last year!
ReplyDeleteGood luck to you and Seppo, may you have a safe flight. So excited for your family! Will be watching for you and your wife at the grocery store to get a peek at your new daughter!!!
