The Kimbley Family from Boularderie, Nova Scotia will be going to Ethiopia for six weeks to complete the adoption process of their newly adopted daughter Maija-Sitota. While waiting to bring her home my Mom and I will be helping out with the local Addis Kidan Baptist Churches. Later on in the trip my Dad and Brother will join us and help wherever they are needed. - Erik Kimbley. david.kimbley@ns.sympatico.ca
Hi! Greetings from Louisbourg, NS!
ReplyDeleteAfter few days of deep freezing temperatures we are above the 0 line. It is Monday, and school was cancelled because of freezing rain. Kyle is laughing in front of the TV, with some kind of a cold and David is playing at a friend´s home.
Satu and Erik, thanks for keeping us all posted. We enjoy reading of your adventures and the people you meet daily in that wonderful country. We pray that Mayia´s visa comes through and everything you see will help us all grow in our understanding of God´s character.
In Him,
Bibiana
Dear Satu and Erik,
ReplyDeleteWe have enjoyed reading all about your trip and pray that you continue to have still a good time ahead of you. We will soon be having Risto and Simon and we're looking forward to it. Yesterday, we had our seniors group at the church and Ken told the story about you getting through customs so easily in Halifax and the group had been praying for you. I gave three people your blog address: Glenna, Mary Lou, and Shirley Lewis. Mary Lou has been following everything. They are enjoying it very much. The pictures of Maija are lovely, and of the rest of you as well. The storms have been bad, but we are surviving. The sun is shining today. It's -7 degrees. We'll write again. My secretary is typing this up for me (Jacki). Grampa and I love you very much and can't wait until we see you all again and the new addition. Much Love...
Grandma and Grampa.
What a blessing to find this account of what is happening in your lives. Susan and I are learning as our children grow. Bruce is building custom homes. Sharon is finished Landscape Architecture and beginning her career. Stephen is a pilot out west near Stonewall Manitoba. Mark is accepted to OCAD. Liz and Ruth are in high school.
ReplyDeleteThe will of God opens wonderfully and Christ is with us through our struggles. This step you are taking is marvelous. We would love to know more as there is opportunity.
love in Christ,
Bruce & Susan Carlson
